Our Beginning
An American owned entity since inception, WMT Precision LLC has been in existence since March of 2018, but our history dates back to the 1970’s.
Our Transformation
Building on our foundation and continuing with our exceptional track record, we have stepped through many of the steps on the Continuous Improvement “journey”.
The tool box is full and we are using many of the tools available to us. Now that we have a solid foundation to build upon, let us expand on what we have done in the last 4-5 years. We have two key assets; our people and our machinery. We have hired nothing but solid individuals to train and bring into our team. Our workforce has almost tripled since 2021. We have purchased a number of machines to enhance our ability to meet and exceed customer expectations. We have purchased new or like new lathes Twin Turret Twin Spindle style to better utilize our workforce. We have purchased new EDMs and are about to purchase another. We have advanced dramatically in our milling area, we purchased a 4 axis Kitamura and a 5 axis Methods mill. We are looking to grow in that product specific arena.
We are grounded in the fundamentals of a successful organization.
Additionally, we will continue enhancing our capabilities with a second multi-year machine upgrade program. To date we have purchased (8) new machines; Lathes, Mills and an EDMs.
Our Future
We have maintained that our future remains very promising. We have remained true to our core beliefs as we take the business to new levels. We have a growth strategy that includes new equipment purchases, manning increases, customer base growth, and facility expansion. To date since inception we have
1) Increased sales year over year. Revenue is 5 fold that of CY2023.
2) Increased our headcount 2 fold and we are still looking for more folks to join our family
3) We have just signed a lease to expand operations right here in Auburn @ 89 York Street. The expansion allows us to better manage our growth while planning for even more future growth.
Our business plan requires that we improve our asset base to include state of the art equipment. With that investment comes the need for an increased level of machinist capabilities. The two key assets go hand-in-hand. We plan to meter in change, monitor the gaps and set a plan to close the gaps.
Our future is planned, but we are open to change and embrace the opportunity to take our operation to new places.
We have been executing our plan for the past several years, drop by or call to see the improvements and discuss opportunities with us.
News
We at WMT Precision are in the midst of year-over-year growth opportunities. We are looking for Machinists with some experience or an Individual that possesses a high degree of mechanical aptitude and is simply committed to learning a new trade.
The individuals experience level will dictate the compensation. The more experienced the individual, the more pay.
As for someone looking to become a Machinist, we will train and work with the individual to maximize the employment opportunity.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package. Vacation and sick leave, 401K, Insurance, year end bonus, etc.
Our “Journey” has been enhanced as we make changes to our facility. We have recently started the process to purchase a new EDM. We are in the process of attaining approvals for the multitude of aerospace components we manufacture.
We have purchased new and new to us equipment. The new purchases will keep us competitive and offers new capabilities. We are in a good position to invest in the future of our business. More to come on this as we move through more steps to purchase more new stuff!
We also added a second shift. Our growth has dictated that we expand our capacity. That is not an easy task these days. We are selective with regard to whom we hire. That makes the process more time consuming, but we feel that the effort up front pays dividends later.
Why Us?
We offer complete product management. We start with an RFQ, we confirm all aspects of the request. We look at revision levels, confirm volumes, assess RM positions, FG positions, and everything in between in WIP. We are an extremely capable entity that is agile as well. We finish with a component that exceeds our customer expectations and is delivered on time.
All this effort is to ensure we develop a relationship with our Customer Base that develops into a long lasting relationship.

It is our belief that we are excellent at communication. It is essential to business relationships to relay product status on a continuous basis for clarity and continuity purposes.
Communication is a key element in our growth strategy. Our Customer Base must be able to trust that the information communicated is fresh, accurate and reliable.
WMT Precision strives to provide our customers with complete to print, turnkey solutions through in-house machining and brazing capabilities, as well as strategic business relationships with many well respected secondary operation subcontractors.
Secondary services that we are able to provide include, but are not limited to:
- Centerless grinding
- X-ray inspection
- Flourescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)
- Surface treatment options such as, plating, chemical conversion coating, paint, powdercoat, etc.
We select our materials as cost effectively as possible based on specifications. We have several very good suppliers that can deliver RM to specification. We have access to SS, HT Alloys, Forgings, Casting and Tubing.
Were it makes business sense, we buy RM in bulk to reduce the overall cost and ensure our best opportunity to attain optimal pricing and delivery dates for our customer base.
We manage all aspects of sub-supply. We control and inspect quality and product flow respectively. Communication throughout the supply chain ensures a common understanding of product status.
